RIVER RIDGE NORDIC
Our Vision is to foster a community where everyone can gather to socialize and participate in our events and activities, learn a new skill in one of our programs or simply take in the scenic river valley while enjoying the best-groomed trails in Saskatchewan
BECOME A CLUB MEMBER
River Ridge Nordic is responsible for youth and adult lessons, trail grooming and maintenance, and much more at River Ridge Trails.
Club members receive notification of events and lessons, access to winter ski tours, plus fall and spring hikes in central Saskatchewan. We rely on membership fees to keep the cost of our programs low, and to allow us to maintain groomed cross-country ski trails in Saskatoon and area. Provincial and Municipal grants are based on our membership numbers. Your membership is very important to accessing outside funding.
You can register as a member, and sign up for youth or adult instruction, and competitive training on Zone4.
YES! WE ARE DOG FRIENDLY!!
Come Ski,Hike or Snowshoe with your furry friend. Here are a few things you need to know before you head out to the trails. Dog owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour. The owner of a dog is responsible for maintaining control over their pet and to be in abidance of any bylaws etc. that govern having a pet in public. If a skier is interfered with by a dog and suffers bodily injury, and they sue the dog owner and the club for damages, the club will be fully protected under the liability insurance policy.
However, the owner of the dog has no protection and is personally responsible for their dog’s
actions just as they would be in other similar settings.
In consideration of other trail users, please respect the following rules:
• Dogs must be under control at all times either by reliable recall or leashed.
• The Parking Lot Area is a MANDATORY ON LEASH area for all dogs at all times.
• Please respect that the parking lot is shared with children and other members. Dogs
must be on leash within 200 meters of the parking lot.
• Any dog poop must be removed from the trail.
